Warranty & Quality on Every Sun Worx System
Decades of manufacturer coverage on the hardware, ten years of our own on the work.
Coverage
Every line of it, in one place.
All electrical and roofing work is performed by appropriately licensed professionals.
Workmanship
The difference between hardware and hands.
A manufacturer warranty covers the object. A workmanship warranty covers what someone did with it — and on a solar job, that is where most real problems come from.
Mounting and attachment
Rails, feet and lag bolts landing in rafters, torqued properly, laid out so the array sits flat and stays put through a Delta wind.
Flashing and penetrations
Every hole we make through your roof gets flashed and sealed. If one of ours leaks inside ten years, we come back and it costs you nothing.
Wiring and conduit
Conductors sized right, conduit run clean and supported, terminations tight, labels where the inspector and the next electrician expect them.
Commissioning
The system is tested, monitoring is confirmed panel by panel, and the battery is set to the schedule your rate plan rewards.
If something goes wrong
One phone number, no ticket queue.
- 01
Call our team
Ring 510-773-1922 and describe what you are seeing — an app alert, a dark panel in the monitoring, a stain on a ceiling.
- 02
We look
Often we can see it remotely in the monitoring. If not, we come out. Either way you are not diagnosing anything yourself.
- 03
We sort out whose it is
Hardware defect, installation defect or something unrelated — we determine it and, if it is a manufacturer claim, we file the paperwork.
- 04
It gets fixed
Within our workmanship window, our labour is covered. Nobody hands you a bill for a problem we created.
Why the equipment choice matters
A warranty is only worth the company behind it.
A 25-year promise means nothing if the manufacturer is gone in six. That is the main reason we quote a short list of equipment instead of whatever is cheapest that month: premium panels with a 25-year manufacturer warranty, Enphase microinverters, and Enphase or FranklinWH batteries.
It also matters for repairs. When the parts are common and the platform is well documented, a fix is a morning's work. When they are obscure, a small fault turns into a small project.
We will not quote equipment we would not want to service ten years from now.
Questions
What people ask about coverage.
What does a workmanship warranty actually cover?
The part we touched. Mounting hardware, the flashing where a bolt goes through your roof, the wiring we ran, the conduit we bent, and any leak that starts at one of our penetrations. If water gets in where we made a hole, that is ours to fix.
What if a panel or a battery fails, not the installation?
Then it is a manufacturer claim, and we file it. You should not have to learn the difference between a hardware defect and an installation defect — you call the same number either way and we sort out whose problem it is.
How do I make a claim?
You call 510-773-1922 and describe what you are seeing. No portal, no ticket number, no support queue. We take the call ourselves, and if it needs eyes on it, we schedule a visit.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell the house?
Manufacturer warranties follow the equipment, which stays with the house. Bring us in early if you are selling — buyers and their agents ask detailed questions, and a clear answer from the installer helps the sale.

Send your city and what you are considering, and we will put the terms in writing with the quote.
